How to Make Homemade Chicken Soup

Bowl of Homemade Chicken Soup

In a large pot, melt 2 tablespoons butter.

Add 1 cup diced onions and 2 cloves minced garlic.

Cook until onions have begun to soften.

Add 1 cup diced celery, 1 cup diced carrots, and 1/2 pound cooked, shredded chicken.

Continue by adding 4 (14.5 ounce) cans of chicken broth, 2 cups egg noodles, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper and 2  bay leaves.

Bring to a boil and then reduce heat.

Remove bay leaves from the soup.
