15 Christmas Cookie Recipes for a Perfect Party Tray

If you’re anything like me, you will be baking this weekend. My kitchen will be a constant stream of mixing, scooping, rolling, baking, and decorating of cookies. The oven will be warming the house, Christmas movies will be playing in the background, and a fine layer of flour and powdered sugar will dust every surface and my kids’ faces.

I love the tradition of baking the same few cookies year after year, but adding a few new offerings to the mix now and then – a crowd-pleaser, a new stunner, or just a few basic drop cookies to fill the spaces between the fussier rolled and delicate ones that take longer – is always welcome on my cookie tray. As I consider what to make, I find myself wanting to add a few new-to-me cookies to mix in along those recipes that have stood the test of Christmases past.

We have 15 cookie recipes to help you fill the holes and add to your Christmas cookie baking this weekend. There’s a little something for everyone, from fudge to biscotti and plenty in between. Happy baking!
