It’s the time of year when soon we’ll make our annual pilgrimage to the local apple orchards and leave loaded down with apples and fresh apple cider.

When you live in the northeast, apple picking is simply just an annual tradition and it often results in hours of peeling, slicing and baking.

I love using apples however I can, from savory apple recipes to quick and easy apple desserts – nothing tastes more like fall to me.

When that first chill whispers through the air in September, it’s time for all things apple, at every meal, every day. Friends, the season is upon us!
