There’s not much about your standard classic chocolate chip cookie recipe to complain about, but that doesn’t mean it can’t get even better…
The recipe on the back of that famous yellow bag is the one I used for years, but over time I tweaked and fussed and made a couple changes that make me very happy. A kick of sea salt at the end brightens the flavor, and adding a bit more dark brown sugar deepens the flavor.
This chocolate chip cookie recipe is so good and comes together so quickly there is no reason not to make them all the time!
Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
- 2 stick Butter softened at room temperature
- 1 cup, packed Dark Brown Sugar
- 0.5 cup Sugar
- 2 Egg
- 1.5 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 2.25 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
- 6 Dark Chocolate chopped
- 1.25 tsp Sea Salt
