Microwave Peanut Brittle Recipe

Peanut Brittle Photo

Sometimes I get some serious cravings for sweet and salty. Like, I need dessert immediately or I’m going to tear into the Nutella and pretzels and NOT STOP.

My mom always makes this peanut brittle over the holidays. But who says candy is just for Christmas? My role here at Food Fanatic is to convince you that candy is a year-round treat (as I also note when salivating over this cookies and cream fudge concoction). And since the warmer weather is upon many of us, why not make a delicious dessert using your microwave?

The hardest part of this recipe is waiting for the candy to harden. And doing the dishes. I hate doing the dishes.

  • Lay a piece of parchment paper over a large cookie sheet. Set aside.
