  • 2 Sugar
  • 1.5 All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Salt
  • 1 Butter softened
  • 4 Egg
  • 2 Orange Extract
  • 2 Orange Zest divided
  • 1 Confectioners Sugar
  • Orange Juice


  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Spray a 13×9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • In a mixing bowl, stir together sugar, flour and salt.
  • Add butter, eggs, extract, and a teaspoon zest; beat with a mixer at medium speed until well blended.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake for about 30 minutes or until light golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and pierce cake in various spots with a fork.
  • In a smaller bowl, combine confectioners’ sugar, orange juice and remaining teaspoon zest until smooth.
  • Pour over warm cake.
  • Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
